This new elementary school is located on a 170-acre county-owned site. Site development is limited to a 20-acre area located south of the current middle school. Initial master planning includes land bank areas for a future high school and bus drop-off for both the middle school and the new elementary school.

Sustainable site design includes limited construction disturbance to the site, retaining trees and vegetation, maximizing open space, providing outdoor learning opportunities in green space, and natural storm water management that utilizes the site’s natural topography. The site has carefully organized the school building and paved areas for optimal sun and wind exposure.
